Orcus (also known as Jūsjūrandum, anglicised as Lord Oath) was the demonic god of the Hadao in Italic and Roman mythology, having a role similar to Hades. He was venerated by the Etruscan and Latin peoples of pre-Roman Italy as the lord of the Underworld and punisher of oathbreakers.
